Winemaker's Notes: This Port is styled after the Late Bottled Vintage (LVB) version of real Portuguese Ports. 100% Syrah grapes were used to create this wine. These grapes were picked at a point far past their normal ripeness point in order to allow high alcohol and high sugars to remain in the wine after 200-proof brandy was added during fermentation to stop the process.
This wine is a fine fit with any dessert featuring berries or chocolate. It also is a heavenly match to Bleu Cheese. Try it with a Crystal Basin Cigar for an after dinner treat.
