Introducing our March Meau-Faux Dr. Suess!
Brilliant as an artist and writer of prose, and more than a little misunderstood, Theodore Seuss Geisel was an advertising executive and a political cartoonist who ended up authoring more that 60 children’s books under his nom de plume, Dr. Seuss.
As a children’s author, Dr. Seuss was, and is still today loved by children and parents alike. With his creative storytelling he greatly contributed to American culture by adding a meaningful element of colorful and thoughtful fun for children growing up during the second half of the 20th century. He created some of the most enduring characters in this genre, including the Grinch, the Lorax, and of course the Cat in the Hat! With his alliterative prose combined with light-heartedly positive messages, Dr. Seuss pumped fun into reading for several generations of Americans. He was a true mid-century Meau-Faux well worth celebrating at Crystal Basin Cellars.
